Khuen Ngao · Lonely Night (Music Video)

Logline

A starless night, a falling angel, and one more chance.

Note of intent

A full-length K-drama fantasy music video for the original Thai song "Khuen Ngao" (Lonely Night): a lonely young man at a starless hotel gala meets a clumsy angel who falls from the sky as a shooting star; they waltz on a mirror of stars and fly over Bangkok, she must return at midnight, he waits every night, and in the final twist she comes back as a human.

The look

Lavish Korean music-video fantasy: deep sapphire, violet and rose-pink night palette, soft moonlight on faces, crystal-chandelier gala, cold steel-blue present-day rooftop. 71 shots cut on the snare, one bar each, lip-sync from the vocal stem.
